A parent asking for their own child’s records is a FERPA request, not an open records request, and is handled through the registrar at no cost.
Northwest Georgia Charter Academy is a public charter school subject to the Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70 et seq. Any person may request access to public records by submitting a request to the school’s designated Open Records Officer:

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 50-18-71, the school will respond to your request within three business days. Records will be provided at no cost when feasible; if costs are incurred, for example for extensive search, retrieval, or copying, the school will provide a cost estimate before producing the records. Requests may be submitted in writing by email, by mail, or in person.
