The Gifted Education Program provides academically advanced students with challenging learning experiences designed to foster critical thinking, creativity, and deeper exploration of content. Students who meet Georgia’s eligibility criteria receive differentiated instruction to maximize their potential.
The Early Intervention Program (EIP), grades K-5, provides targeted academic support in reading and mathematics for eligible students who need additional assistance to meet grade-level expectations. The goal is to strengthen foundational skills and help students achieve long-term academic success.
Our school counseling program supports students’ academic achievement, college and career readiness, and social-emotional development. School counselors partner with students, families, and staff to provide guidance, individual and small-group support, crisis response, and referrals to community resources when appropriate.
The Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is a proactive framework used to identify and address students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs. Through ongoing data review and collaboration with families, teachers provide targeted supports and monitor student progress to help every learner succeed.
The MTSS Process:
– Identify Needs: Universal screenings and classroom data help identify students who may benefit from additional support.
– Provide Support: Evidence-based interventions are matched to each student’s needs while they continue to receive high-quality classroom instruction.
– Monitor Progress: Student progress is reviewed regularly, and supports are adjusted as needed to promote continued growth and success.

Students may also be eligible for services under Section 504, special education (IDEA), or English learner services. Families experiencing homelessness or housing instability, and students in foster care, have specific rights to enrollment, transportation, and school stability. Each of these has its own page with the coordinator’s contact information and how to make a referral or ask a question.
