Northwest Georgia Charter Academy is committed to full compliance with all federal and state laws and with our charter contract with the State Charter Schools Commission of Georgia. We are subject to regular monitoring and reporting under that contract, including compliance reviews, academic and financial performance monitoring, and submission of required reports.
The Governor’s Office of Student Achievement publishes an annual report card with information about our academic performance, student growth, and other key indicators. The Georgia Department of Education publishes the federal and state report card, including the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI).

Northwest Georgia Charter Academy develops and implements a school improvement plan and a Comprehensive LEA Improvement Plan (CLIP) in alignment with state and federal requirements. These plans identify goals, strategies, and interventions to ensure continuous improvement and equitable outcomes for all students.
Parents, guardians, students, or community members who believe the school has not complied with applicable laws may file a complaint under the school’s Complaints, Grievances, and Whistleblower Policy, and may escalate to: the U.S. Department of Education Student Privacy Policy Office for FERPA and PPRA matters; the Georgia Department of Education Federal Programs Division for Title programs; the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights for discrimination under Title VI, Title IX, Section 504, or the ADA; the Georgia Department of Education Special Education Services and Supports Division for IDEA matters; and the Georgia Department of Education ESOL / Title III Office for English learner programs. Concerns relating to compliance with the charter contract may be submitted directly to the State Charter Schools Commission of Georgia.
